Schwalbe Clik Valve Umrüstkit SV-SCV inkl. Pumpenkopf-Adapter

These valves are really awesome! I hope these will be on all bikes in the future. No more hassle with unscrewing the valve first, just click the pumphead on, read the air pressure INSTANTLY on the manometer, inflate to desire pressure or even deflate if you pump has this feature (mostly when using a compressor) and click the pumphead off. It won't get any easier.

These are just awesome. USB type C kind of awesome, if you get the idea. There is no hassle with screwing on the thread like regular pump heads. They don't leak air like imperfectly seated flip lock pump heads. Just click. ALSO. These DO work with aerothane tubes, and actually better then the supplied valve cores. Firstly no pressure loss in about a month since i switched to click valves. Secondly the plastic aerothane stem used to be a pain with presta heads in terms of connecting a pump. When you screw in on and off the core rotates with the pump head with obvious results. When using a flip lock head there was either not enough pressure and air was leaking, or the presta cores got stuck too tight and would just come off with the pump head when pulled off. Click valves solved everything perfectly. There is also a problem with these: not compatible with my digital pressure gauge. But this i solve by using a topeak digital shuttle gauge which has a flip lock style connection with a click valve adapter in it and an AV-SCV adapter on the onther end to connect to a SCV pump head.

Ich hoffe, das wird der neue Standard, es ist einfach so viel besser, als Schrader/Presta, mit dem fragilen Ventileinsatz. Umbau ist in 2 Minuten erledigt. Pumpenkopf lässt sich sicher aufsetzen und hält auch viel besser. Einziger "Nachteil", das Luft Ablassen ist bei Schrader bequemer, beim Click Valve muss man mit dem Fingernagel oder einem anderen Gegenstand den Stift eindrücken. Werde aber trotzdem ab jetzt nur noch SCV verwenden.

Idee und Umsetzung sind an sich top und qualitativ hochwertig. Grundlegend ist dies wohl das problemloseste System seit AV. Allerdings ist der Luftdurchsatz sehr gering und das Ablassen der Luft unterwegs kaum möglich. Der geplante Einsatz am Fatbike ist so leider nicht umsetzbar.

Schwalbe hat mit dem Ventil eine große Inovation entwickelt.Muss meine Tublessreifen weniger oft nachpumpen. Ich hoffe das wird einmal der Standart .

Beim Abziehen des Pumpenkopfes zog es immer wieder den Ventilkern aus dem Ventilschaft meiner TPU Schläuche, da diese aus Kunststoff gefertigt sind. Die ersten Clik Valve Einsätze habe ich gleich in meine TPU Schläuche geschraubt. Kleines Teil große Wirkung. Perfekt zu bedienen. Mittlerweile ist der ganze Familienfuhrpark damit ausgerüstet. Für Biker die unterwegs Luft ablassen möchten empfehle ich den SKS Airchecker 2.0. Funktioniert mit Clik Valve sogar noch besser als mit den alten Einsätzen.
